Connect Google Business Profile
An owner or admin connects each location. Replies to Google stay off until that person records consent.
Each location has its own Google connection. TrustMetrics reads that location's Business Profile. TrustMetrics is not a Google partner.
Your reviews come from your own Google Business Profile and are shown with Google attribution. Competitor figures come from Google Maps. TrustMetrics does not sell or resell Google review content. Inbox rows are refreshed from Google and removed when they have not been synced for 30 days. Derived notes on a review, such as a theme or an AI draft, are removed with that review. Competitor ratings are read live and are not saved.
Connect a location
- Open the location, then Google.
- An owner or admin chooses Connect Google Business Profile and signs in with the Google account that manages that profile.
- Set the Business Profile account and location resource names if they are not filled in.
- Use Sync reviews now to pull the current reviews. A sync also runs on the schedule.
If the connect button is unavailable
Only an owner or admin can connect Google. A manager cannot. If the button is disabled, Google sign-in is not configured for this deployment, and the page shows the reason.
